!abstract art to flog on ebay?
i want to make some abstract art and sell it on ebay. which would sell faster, one fine art for $5,000 or several different paintings for $100 each? also, give me some tips on getting society to buy them.

I buy and sell a lot of art on-line mostly because I work contained by an art gallery. Most likely, unless you are nationally known, the $5000 sculpture will not sell in Ebay. But don't let that discourage you from doing it. I would start beside maybe craigslist.org. Its a free classified ads page, or even your local calssified on-line ads. It MUCH easier to go art to local people. Peopl LOVE buying local art. Take your originals to an art gallery. Believe it or not, most galleries love to display local art because, again, it's the easiest to put on the market. So, in answer to your question you are more likely to provide the 100$ paintings. Even if they sell lower, you now own a fan. Someone who liked your art enough to buy it. They will shhow their friends and when they are geared up they will buy more from you. Good luck!

I would say go the $100 each. If you are not a recognised artist individuals will not shell out the money, but are more likely to buy your work if they like what they see at an affordable price.
